Our ‘bee safaris’ are a great opportunity to meet with other club members and visit their apiaries.
This is totally voluntary and absolutely no pressure is placed on members to open their hives, however it does provide the perfect opportunity to see how other ‘beeks’ manage their hives, ask them questions and generally compare notes.
You may be visiting an apiary with just one hive or there may be twenty colonies to see, it may have standard national hives or may possibly contain a long hive – or a selection of vatious ‘styles’ of hives and NUC’s and it is this diversity that makes our safaris so rewarding.
The safaris are restricted to fully paid up members of the club in order to maintain security and privacy of members apiaries.
